Pregnant Women Should Get Vaccinated

The major obstetric organizations strongly recommend that pregnant women get COVID 19 vaccinations. Their recommendation is based upon safety testing of vaccination before, during, and after pregnancy as well as the mounting evidence that COVID 19 infections in pregnant women are causing serious complications and even deaths of women and fetuses.

The CDC reported that COVID related deaths of pregnant women are increasing. Serious COVID related illness is more severe in pregnant vs. non pregnant women. Mississippi reported the COVID 19 deaths of 8 pregnant women in 2 months starting July 25, 2021. Additional data shows that stillbirth rate doubled in unvaccinated pregnant women with COVID.

The Law Offices of Mary Beck has seen this tragic trend in its adoption and surrogacy cases.
